Emirates Weightlifting Team for GCC Championship
Asian Youth and Junior Championships :-
The Indian Weightlifting Federation confirmed the poseponement of organizing the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships which was scheduled August 1- 10 is now moved to 16th- 24th of December 2009 to fully compromise a succesful hosting from the prevailing security scenario and the impact of swine flu from neighboring countries. Official Invitations will be circulated very soon. The host country is in full cooperation with the AWF to provide the participants, delegates, officials and enthusiast a promising and stand out level of competition in Pune, India.
The GCC Weightlifting Championships will be held at the Tennis Court in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates from 1st- 6th July 2009.
